Congratulations to Lyndsi Riley on being the 2009 Rodeo Idol Champion.  Lyndsi was presented a hand crafted one of a kind belt buckle during the final performance of the 2009 San Angelo Rodeo.  The belt buckle was crafted by Ben Trowbridge of San Angelo using the Rodeo Idol logo as a template.

Planning for the 2009 Rodeo Idol competition involved the coordinated efforts of several organizations.  After the venue for auditions was selected to be Sunset Mall the planners knew the next most important facet was a quality sound system that would showcase the talent of the competitors.  For this reason Tarpley Music was selected for their expertise and willingness to participate.  Billy Scott, the General Manager for Tarpley in San Angelo was enthusiastic to help.  When asked why he got involved with Idol Mr. Scott replied, “At Tarpley Music, we strive to encourage budding musicians.  Rodeo Idol was a perfect way for us to show our support for a great group of talented young people and to be involved in the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo, which brings so much to our community.”
